Photography

 

Students with an enthusiasm and passion for photography and the creative process will love this course.

Investigation, analysis, experimentation and exploration form the backbone of this course and encourage students to develop their inquiring minds and independence.

Photography GCSE is driven by theme based projects which contribute to each student’s personal portfolio which, in turn, contributes to 60% of the overall grade awarded.

Students are gradually introduced to a broad range of materials and processes. They will learn to use both digital and analogue cameras and to use the darkroom along with programmes such as Photoshop.
