RGS through to the finals of the UKMT team challenge

Sheen D, Lakith G, Tom K and Jake B recently represented RGS at the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) team challenge regional final, a competition for students in years 8 and 9 from schools across the country. RGS took on CLFS, St. John’s Leatherhead, Ardingly, Christ’s Hospital and 20 other schools. The competition comprised a group round, a cross-number, a shuttle round and a relay round. RGS performed consistently well throughout, placing 1st overall. This fantastic result sees them, along with the senior team before them, go through to London national final in June.
