Cambridge University Tour for Lower Sixth Form
On Friday 23 March Mrs Budden, Mr Chevalier and Mrs Donald took a group of Lower Sixth Form students on a tour to Cambridge University. The trip began at Surrey’s link college, Churchill, where students were given an engaging and informative talk by the College’s Admissions Tutor. They were then given a tour of the College and its facilities and were impressed with its size and space. Students were then treated to an excellent lunch.
A walk into town was followed by an enlightening tour of Pembroke College bu Old Reigatian Laura Upstone, who showed students around her college, Pembroke.. Finally, students went into town to ensure the cafes were up to scratch!
Aside from being a great day out, this experience was a valuable opportunity for RGS students to assess whether Cambridge might be the university for them.
